WHO WE ARE
MEDEP, established in 2015, is the first and only company in Vietnam to produce intraocular lenses and antibacterial agent-coated surgical sutures.
Products manufactured by MEDEP are on the list of prioritized high-tech products approved by the Prime Minister of Vietnam in Decision No. 66/2014/QD-TTg on November 25th, 2014. We were granted the first Investment Certificate by the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park on August 26th, 2015, and were granted the Business Registration Certificate by the Department of Planning and Investment of Ho Chi Minh City for the first time on October 8th, 2015. We are recognized as a company of science and technology by the Ministry of Science and Technology (Certificate No. 29/DNKHCN dated September 17th, 2020. MEDEP is also a proud member of the Vietnam Medical Device Association (VIMEAS) and of VCCI Viet Nam.
MEDEP is more than just a manufacturer. We collaborate with domestic leading universities and research institutes, and as a research partner, we work alongside some of the biggest names in the medical devices and biomedical industries.

TECHNOLOGY & FACILITIES
Our 10,000m2 factory in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – within the Saigon High-tech Park – features a cleanroom that complies with ISO 14644 for air cleanliness (class 5, 7, 8, and 9) and ISO 14698 for contamination control. The sterilization system complies with ISO 11135 (EO sterilization for medical devices) and ISO 17665 (Moist heat sterilization for medical devices).
To achieve state-of-the-art manufacturing, research, and laboratory facilities for our hi-tech products, we imported our manufacturing and measuring equipment from the USA and European countries.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Quality policy: MEDEP is committed to designing, manufacturing, and distributing medical devices that meet customer expectations and comply with applicable regulatory requirements by maintaining the effectiveness of a quality management system.
Certified to ISO 13485:2016 and EN ISO 13485:2016 for the Quality Management System of Medical Devices by BSI Vietnam (Certificate No. MD 693203), our quality management system also complies to:
